It seems this was indeed the week that the Dragonflight Beta hits, with the client being updated, as spotted by MrGM! It’s important to note that this is still a closed Beta, and the number of invites won’t necessarily increase (although they are likely to), but you should definitely make sure you’ve got your account signed up (at the bottom of the linked page) if you’re interested!
