We’re taking a look at the second two weeks of Season 4’s Mythic+ DPS logs, with a very familiar old face returning to the very top, and most likely staying there for the rest of the expansion.
Note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
These past 2 weeks were:
It seems the age of Fire has come again. The Mage spec has been climbing since the start of the season, and now that it’s reached the pinnacle, it doesn’t seem very likely that it’ll go down again until the Dragonflight pre-patch! Destruction is still hanging in there, despite the nerfs, sitting at No.2, with Survival very much on its tail. Outlaw drops a spot to Destro’s climb, while Windwalker, Demonology and Shadow stay still. Marksmanship pushes Fury aside, as Arcane pops in to the final spot of the top 10, just ahead of the Shamans. The bottom remains reserved for Assassination, Unholy and Beast Mastery, who shuffled their positions around a little.
Fire didn’t quite manage to snag the top spot in the generalist bracket yet, as Survival is holding it off, at least for now. Outlaw is doing better as it keeps its No.3 spot, as the Warlocks switch places beneath it. Everything remains the same up to 10th place, where Elemental jumps in, pushing Balance down, as Arcane also moves past the Druid spec. Subtletly is doing a lot worse this time around, as it drops 4 spots into the bottom 3, where it’s joined by Retribution and Assassination.
There’s still something weird going on with the higher key log visual representation, but we’ll take a look at the +20ies nonetheless, with Windwalker doing particularly well there.
