With summer in full swing, Square Enix sets up for the annual Moonfire Faire and gives us an opportunity to prepare! Summer-themed items are now on sale on the Online Store!

The Moonfire Faire is one of many annual events held in FFXIV. A staple event alongside things such as Valentione’s Day, All Saints’ Wake, Little Ladies’ Day, Starlight Celebration, and even the Make it Rain Campaign, the Moonfire Faire celebrates the spirit of summer by sending everyone to the beach. What better beach than sunny Costa del Sol?

While we don’t have a specific date yet for the Moonfire Faire in game, we can make some educated guesses. The summer event is usually held in the later summer months rather than the earlier ones, with the event beginning on August 13th last year just before Endwalker. This means we can likely expect the event to take place sometime mid-August.

In previous years, there has been a massive jumping puzzle (and frequent readers will know I’m a huge fan of those), and I’m hoping they bring it back for more achievements and rewards. We’ve also seen leaked previews of this summer’s swimsuits, one of which was heavily advertised thanks to a certain goofy billboard. And for those that never got a Blizzard Bear in World of Warcraft, you can get one here!…Kind of!

You can see what summer items are on sale below as you prepare to beat the heat! Let us know what you’re most excited about!
