Here’s two more tips/reminders for leveling in the new expansion, as these focus mostly on alts or for those that will be leveling multiple characters simultaneously (or those that have a lot of gold laying around). You could even be leveling from 60 to 66 in 30ish minutes, but would have to expend a lot of crafting resources.

The first one is an oldie but a goodie, as Slashzor308 pointed out you should be logging in to your alts  after the Dragonflight launch, to get that rested XP bar going again! As you know, when a new expansion drops all characters get the new levels added and ready to be filled with experience, but you have to log in to each character to get that rested XP going.

How soon you need to do that depends entirely on when you’re planning on playing these other characters, as it takes a while for the full rested XP to gather up – you gain 5% of your current level in bonus XP per 8 hours logged off in an inn or capital city, or per 32 hours logged off elsewhere. The cap is at 150% of your current level in bonus XP, and you can read more about the rested XP system here.

The other, slightly weirder tip is potentially much more significant, as you could be gaining XP extremely fast while using your professions. Now, this one is from about two weeks ago on the beta, so it’s not 100% certain it will work on live, but considering it’s a pretty expensive way to level, it just might work. Basically the new profession system brings a lot of XP for crafting, and with enough mats you can speed through the first 6-ish levels very quickly. Here’s the full post:
