We forgot about the tanks and healers! A couple of days ago we took a look at the DPS log rankings for the Vault but we didn’t cover the actual backbone of the the raids – the ones keeping everyone alive and the ones keeping the bosses from killing everyone else.

Healer HPS

We’ll be starting with the healers, as their data is much more relevant here, with pure HPS. Now this isn’t the be-all-end-all stat as there’s much more to healing than just raw throughout, but it’s certainly more relevant than tank DPS numbers!

Having started really slow in the pre-patch, now that they have their full kit (and proper item levels) the new kid in town is taking over the place! Preservation is on top in Heroic, and even further ahead in Mythic, with the previous ruler, Holy, slotting into 2nd. Shamans also moved up from the pre-patch, bypassing Druids and Discipline (who’s down in the dumps) to grab third. Mistweaver joins Discipline as the biggest loser since the pre-patch, as Paladin remained almost as low as before.

Tank DPS

In Heroic Druids retain their throne after the pre-patch and the new raid, although they’re not quite as insanely far ahead, while Protection Warriors move all the way from last place to 2nd, and look to be taking over soon as well. Vengeance remains in 3rd, same as the pre-patch, and the big loser here is Blood DKs, as they go from 2nd to last.

Over in Mythic with very small class representation for all of them, Bewmasters are dishing out all the DPS, with Paladins in 2nd, but DKs still sad at the bottom.

We’ll check back in with the tanks and healers next week along with the DPS as well. Meanwhile you can check out our Dragonflight class guides here or our Vault of the Incarnates guide here.
