Demon Hunters are the only remaining class that didn’t receive new talent trees on the Dragonflight Alpha. With all zones being available for testing currently on the Alpha, Closed Beta may begin as soon as next week. We should also hear more about the Dragonflight pre-patch in the near future.

When Dragonflight Alpha testing began on July 14, 2022, Blizzard said Alpha would have multiple stages of testing.

Full details on the following phases will be shared as we get closer to them, but here are the current plans for the zones:

Phase 2 Zone Experience: The Forbidden Reach

Phase 3 Zone Experiences: The Forbidden Reach and Waking Shores

Phase 4 Zone Experiences: The Forbidden Reach and Thaldraszus

Phase 5 Zone Experiences: The Forbidden Reach and Ohn’ahran Plain

Phase 6+ All zones are expected to be playable

The sixth phase is currently ongoing, and for the first time, Build 45141 makes every zone available for testing.

Demon Hunters are the only class that didn’t receive new talent trees yet, but that’s hopefully changing with next week’s update. Alpha currently contains templates for both leveling and max-level testing, which gives us a solid reason to believe that Closed Beta is well…close!

The unconfirmed leaked internal spreadsheet from yesterday contains a supposed release date of the Dragonflight pre-patch. If the pre-patch release is planned for October 25, 2022, we should also see it hit Public Test Realms soon, maybe when Blizzard announces Closed Beta.

When do you think we’ll learn more about the pre-patch? Let us know in the comments!
