Blizzard has extended the Stormwind Portal Room in Patch 10.2 to fit more portals.
In Guardians of the Dream, you can go up the stairs behind the Water Elementals to find two new rooms that fit up to 5 portals each. This should give the Stormwind Portal Room ample space for multiple expansions.
