Earlier today, the Scourge Invasion event began ahead of schedule and Blizzard has shared a Blue post on the reason why. Apparently the original Scourge invasion started 72 hours after the Plague began in the original Wrath and that trigger set the event off today.
This was a surprise to us, but all in all, a welcome one.
We previously believed that the Scourge Invasion would start 168 hours after the Zombie Plague. That’s why we used the dates we used in our posts about these events.
