Revival Catalyst is a device that lets you convert eligible Season 2 non-set items Tier Set pieces in Patch 10.1.

Where Can I Pick Up the Revival Catalyst Intro Quest?

The intro quest for the Catalyst will become available when you log in to the game from Therazal in Valdrakken. It’s called The Catalyst’s Boon and it’s in place to show you where the Catalyst’s located.

Where is the Catalyst Located in Dragonflight?

The intro quest will lead you straight to the Catalyst. The console is located in Tyrhold with the entrance at 59 53.

Inside, you will find Catalyst Steward Antuka.

Revival Catalyst Changes in Season 2

If you remember the Catalyst from Season 1, there are a few notable changes in Season 2:

You don’t need to complete any quests, charges are earned automatically at a rate of 1 charge per week.

Patch 10.1 added a new gear upgrading system and the Catalyst only accepts gear at Veteran Rank PvE Gear and PvP Gear.

What Gear Can You Upgrade with Revival Catalyst?

PvE Gear – Loot from Mythic Dungeons, Aberrus, World Bosses, and open-world content

PvP Gear – (Ranked/Unranked/Epic War Mode (Bloody Tokens) Gear).

Non-upgrade Bloody Tokens gear cannot be converted.

When Will You Get More Catalyst Charges?

During the first week of June 13, you will receive your very first Catalyst charge. Subsequent charges will be available every week.

Second charge: Week of June 20.

Third charge: Week of June 27.

Fourth charge: Week of July 4.

Fifth charge: Week of July 11.

Sixth charge: Week of July 18.

Item Level 405-411 items convert to gear with Raid Finder appearances.

Item Level 415-424 items convert to gear with Normal Difficulty appearances.

Item Level 428-437 items will convert to gear with Heroic Difficulty appearances.

Item Level 441+ items will convert to gear with Mythic Difficulty appearances.

Upgraded Bloody Tokens (item level 411) gear converts to Normal Difficulty transmog.
