Are you a fan of PvP in Final Fantasy XIV? Do you enjoy competing with other players in fast-paced matches? If so, you might want to check out the Crystalline Conflict, the latest PvP mode introduced in patch 6.1 of Endwalker. But hurry up, because season 7 of the Crystalline Conflict is ending soon, and you don’t want to miss your chance to get some amazing rewards!

What is the Crystalline Conflict?
The Crystalline Conflict is a PvP mode that pits teams of players against each other in a variety of arenas. The objective is to escort a payload to the enemy’s goal, while preventing them from doing the same. The payload moves automatically when a team member is near it, but stops when an enemy is nearby. The team that reaches the enemy’s goal first, or has moved the payload farther when the time runs out, wins the match.

How to Participate in Season 7?
To participate in season 7 of the Crystalline Conflict, you will need to have completed the quest “A Pup No Longer”, which unlocks PvP in general. This quest is available when you first join your Grand Company and reach level 30. Afterward, you can complete the quest “The Crystal (Line’s) Call”, for an explanation of the different duties and rules of the Crystalline Conflict. This will then allow you to join the Crystalline Conflict either as a casual match or a ranked match through the Duty Finder.

Season 7 of the Crystalline Conflict will end with the release of patch 6.48, which is expected to arrive in late August 2023. The final results will be announced after the patch goes live, so you still have time to prove yourself and show everyone the strength of your Warrior of Light!

What are the Rewards?
Players who participate in at least one ranked match during season 7 will receive rewards based on their tier and rank within their data center. The rewards include Wolf Marks, achievements, titles, minions, and mounts. Visit the official Rank Rewards page for more information.

Note on Matchmaking Issues
Please note that there have been some matchmaking issues affecting players who are matched in Japanese data centers. These issues have caused some players to receive incorrect ratings or rankings, or to be unable to join matches at all. Square Enix has acknowledged these issues and has made some adjustments to address them.
