We’re diving into the first week of 10.1.5 and how it went in Mythic+! Augmentation Evokers are still the talk of the town, but unlike in raid rankings, they didn’t basically invalidate the numbers here. As you may have seen, raids were able to stack Evokers and buff individual characters to the moon, which made the week 1 rankings very weird. This is not the case in M+, as the newly hotfixed limits don’t apply here, since you can’t have more than 4 Aug Evokers anyway! So, let’s take a look!

U.GG DPS Rankings

U.gg’s rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players.

The all-time king is back on its throne, as Fire takes over and isn’t likely to go away until some serious nerfs strike. It’s very far in front of the rest, and it very likely is getting most of the Augmentation love as well, since it’s the prime target. Shadow fell down from its lofty spot in the last patch, but not too far, as only Enhancement and Subtletly got past it after Fire. Frost Mage climbed out of some very low rankings and is doing really well, with Elemental also climbing, but not quite as much. Feral is also up high, clawing 3 spots up and leaving its fellow Druid at the bottom of the top 10. The actual bottom remained pretty much the same since the patch, with Marksmanship now joining Assassination and Unholy in the bottom 3, although Affliction hasn’t exactly moved far away either.

Augmentation isn’t getting its due in the pure DPS rankings it seems, as it’s around the bottom middle.

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

All Keys

95th percentile DPS

Shadow is doing better here, basically tied with Fire, and Augmentation is showing off properly, as the clear rates showcase how well its doing much better than pure DPS. The chart in general is fairly different from the DPS-focused one above, with Balance doing much better than Feral, Fury being in the top 10 and Retribution doing better as well.

All Percentiles

Shadow is standing strong after the patch in the generalist rankings, showing it is indeed as good as Fire. Augmentation is holding its own even better here, as Retribution and Fury stick together and are doing very well. The bottom 3 sees the other Evoker DPS spec not doing so well, joined by Assassination and Unholy.
