Blizzard reduced the maximum speed of Soar from 930% to 640% on the Dragonflight Alpha, nerfing the racial ability by about 30%.
Content creator SoulSoBreezy released two videos showing the effect of the nerf in more detail, comparing Soar to its previous iteration and regular flying. It took approximately 11 seconds longer to reach the same destination after the nerf.
