Week two of the Battle for Azeroth prepatch is in full swing. As expected, a few hotfixes have been applied. Only one itty bitty one affects us specifically as a class:

Hotfixes

  • Subtlety: Fixed a bug where The First of the Dead did not work with Shadowstrike and Gloomblade.

In other hotfix news, confirmation that Demon Hunters are dirty thieves who steal from us:

  • Fixed a bug where boosting a Demon Hunter character or using a class trial Demon Hunter equipped the character with rogue gear.

Now that the changes are in game, Infexious has released his guides for each spec:

A big thank you to these gents. Creating video guides is no small task.

This week I’d like to give a nod to Raidbots created by Seriallos. Over and over again as you are trying to figure out what is best for your rogue you will hear “sim yourself.” Raidbots makes that easy. You can figure out the best gear for you so you know what to farm, the best gear in your bags so you know what to wear, you can compare talents to see what works best with your gear, you can figure out what your stat weights are so you know how to gem and enchant. As rogues, this is huge for us. Most guides acknowledge that their stat and gear recommendations are a place to start and that you then want to sim to refine yourself. Raidbots gives you that, and more. So do it, sim yourself:

Do you have an optimization site that you love? Or a site that helps make you a better rogue? Let us know in the comments.
