In order to transfer your character’s Renown progress into Diablo 4’s first season, you’ll need to have a character that you can actually log into. If you’re currently playing Diablo 4 in Hardcore mode, you will need to keep your character alive until July 18th, in order to benefit from the Area discovery and Altars of Lilith Renown transfer beginning in Season of the Malignant.
