We have a very big week to take a look at this time around, with not only our scaly new friends making an appearance i the Sepulcher of the First Ones, but we also have the results of the patch tuning to take a look at!

Important note: Evokers may be down at the bottom in all the charts, but remember this is literally their first week – neither the item levels nor player skill levels are or can be high enough to properly compare to the other classes and specs yet.

Mythic

95th Percentile

The damage just keeps ramping up week after week, as Affliction and Balance, aka the AoE kings, are pulling farther and farther ahead of everyone else using ye-olde Chaotic Essence fated affix, reaching up to 90K DPS average across the whole raid, with spikes up to 130K on Pantheon. The rest of the mortal specs are down around the 70K mark, and the top 3 remained unchanged from the previous week, but we do see Demonology climb back up towards the top, gaining a whole 4 spots to land in 4th. More Warlocks, hooray!

Before we continue, let’s address the new kid in town, as Evoker finds itself at the bottom, but despite their extreme lack of gear (since this is their first week in existence) they still managed to get past two Hunter specs! This certainly isn’t the actual position of the spec, even in the pre-patch chaos, as players acclimate to the very new spec and acquire gear. It’ll take a while to see the specs true potential, and we’ll probably have to wait until the first Dragonflight raid to do so.

Back at the top we see Unholy drops one to host Demo, and Arcane pushes Windwalker out of 6th, while Frost joins its DK friend in dropping one down. Retribution finds itself a little higher this week, in 9th, as an entirely different Mage spec joins it, with Frost taking over from Fire, which drops a huge 6 spots.

All Percentiles

The two kings sit comfortably at the top in the generalist bracket as well, as Beast Mastery secures its top 3 slot. Outlaw is the biggest exception here, and while it is 2 spots down from the previous week, it’s still doing better than in Mythic, the opposite of Windwalker, which barely holds on to the top 10 here. Devastation is at the very bottom here as well, which makes a lot of sense, as the majority of Evoker players are at a very low item level and just learning the class, so the low parses will be much more plentiful than the high ones, dragging its overall position down.

Tanks and Healers

While we don’t much care for the tanks this week, we can still check in and see Guardians destroying everything with their little trick, as they even got a buff for when DF launches and they will sorely be needing it. The only other bit of news here is that Blood DKs managed to move past Paladins.

As we’ve seen with the DPS role, Evokers aren’t doing too well here either, but again it’s all down to this being the first week, low item levels and the adjustment to a very new class and spec. Meanwhile Discipline has taken over the HPS charts, knocking Mistweaver out of No.1, while Holy Priest did the same to Resto Druid, so it’s been a very white week.

Heroic DPS

Heroic sees the top 2 specs doing even better than in Mythic, with an average of 130K DPS for the Warlocks! Arms continues to be the main point of difference between the two difficulties, as the Heroic Warriors are very die-hard over here, remaining in 3rd. The other big difference is Fire sticking around still, dropping one from last week but still in a strong 6th, and we also have a rare Enhancement sighting in 8th.

Devastation is doing better here than in the generalist Mythic bracket, also finding itself 2 spots away from last, doing better than Subtletly and Marksmanship.
